HALLMARK DIRECTION REUNITES WITH
COUNTRY ARTIST JOHN MICHAEL MONTGOMERY

MONTGOMERY PREPARES TO RELEASE NEW MUSIC IN 2007

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – January 17, 2007 -- President/Owner of Hallmark Direction Company John Dorris announces the signing of country artist John Michael Montgomery to management representation.  This agreement continues the previous eight-year relationship between the artist and this management company.

With a musical career that spans twelve albums and a greatest hits package, John Michael’s contribution to the country music format includes hits such as “I Swear,” “Be My Baby Tonight,” “I Can Love You Like That,” “Sold (the Grundy County Auction Incident)” and “Life’s A Dance,” among many others.  He’s earned 15 number one singles, sold over 16 million albums and received numerous industry and fan-voted awards, including CMA Awards, ACM Awards and American Music Awards.  His last single at radio, “Letters from Home,” (2004) reached #5 on Billboard’s Country Singles chart.

“John Michael and I have always enjoyed a wonderful friendship and successful business relationship,” says Dorris.  “Our partnership spanned from his dynamic launch to his inevitable super stardom.  Re-establishing these ties confirms Hallmark Direction’s belief in his future in country music.”

“I’m extremely excited to be back with my good friend John and the Hallmark family,” John Michael says.  “I've been very fortunate to have a lot of peaks and valleys in my career. I've seen a lot of changes since 1992. The main thing I've learned is to just be myself, to treat people kindly, and if you give radio a good song, they'll play it. I know how lucky it is to be successful in this business, and I've always tried to let the fans, the deejays and the people I work with know how much I appreciate them.”

With a keen ability for choosing hit singles, John Michael will return to the studio this year to prepare for a new album release.  He continues to tour in 2007 and will oversee the 2nd Annual Hunting & Fishing Show held in Bardstown, KY, from March 9 – 11, an event that he created.  He will also be filming a hunting and fishing television program airing later this year.

Hallmark Direction Company’s current artist roster includes Montgomery Gentry, Jeff Bates, Dean Dillon, The Parks, Ray Scott, Trent Willmon, The Whites and Blake Wise.

Letters From Home

My dearest son, it's almost June
I hope this letter catches up with you and find's you well
It's been dry, but they're calling for rain
And everything's the same old same in Johnsons Ville
Your stubborn old daddy ain't said too much
But I'm sure you know he sends his love
And she goes on.... in a letter from home

I hold it up and show my buddies
Like we ain't scared and our boots ain't muddy
And they all laugh like there's something funny about the way I talk when I say mamma sends her best y'all
I fold it up and put it in my shirt
Pick up my gun and get back to work
And it keeps me driving on... waitin' on letters from home

My dearest love, it's almost dawn
I've been lying here all night long wondering where you might be
I saw your mamma and I showed her the ring
Man on television said some things, so I couldn't sleep
But I'll be alright I'm just missing you
And this is me kissing you x's and o's... in a letter from home

I hold it up and show my buddies
Like we ain't scared and our boots ain't muddy
And they all laugh, cause she calls me honey
But they take it hard, cause I don't read the good parts
I fold it up and put it in my shirt
Pick up my gun and get bact to work
And it keeps me driving on... waitin' on letters from home

Dear son, I know I ain't written
But sitting here tonight alone in the kitchen it occures to me
I might not have said it, so I'll say it now
Son you make me proud

I hold it up and show my buddies
Like we ain't scared and our boots ain't muddy
But no one laughs, cause there ain't nothing funny
When a soldier cries and I just wipe my eyes
I fold it up and put it in my shirt
Pick up my gun and get back to work
And it keeps me driving on
Waintin' on....
